Before becoming a marriage and family therapist I had a diverse range of work experiences that shaped me as a therapist. I have worked as a massage therapist, birth doula, kindergarten teacher and backpacking guide. In these settings, I learned to be especially attuned to the unique challenges of being a human. I have experience witnessing people through some of life’s most difficult moments and am proud to have been a trusted support they can lean on.
I earned my undergraduate degree at Evergreen State College, a multidisciplinary liberal arts college where I focused on multicultural and immigration issues. My master’s degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle where I specialized in Play Therapy. I have additional training in supporting couples, those struggling with infertility, and adolescents.
My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I center my clients’ voice and worldview. Together we will work to create healing and meaningful change.
